snow...ice

Kids wanted to play in what snow there was yesterday...they had a good time sledding down our puny hill in the backyard. You can still see the grass even which is funny, but they liked it. The ice was on our front porch railing this morning after the freezing rain...ahh winter...

Super easy project and 34 weeks!

My sister-in-law, Mindy, makes custom vinyl lettering so her little business made me this for the Young Women's room at church. It turned out very cute. I like it.
And...I am 34 weeks now, here is my pic. Doc said things look like they are right on track. Baby hasn't dropped yet or anything...just sinking, at least that is how it feels to me.

I swear I am going to have a new post soon...34 weeks is right around the corner so we'll have a picture of that too. For now I am going to see what the most recent pictures I have are and those will go up now.

This is a sign that we got for Christmas from my uncle. It is on our mantle for now but I have another place in mind for when our basement is done, in the very near future.
These next pics are from our after New Year's trip to the breakfast buffet at Willow Valley in PA. It was yummy.
There is a pond outside so we took a few pics around that too. It was really sunny out there. And freezing cold.

funny jack...

last night we were trying to get the kids to pick up playing cards from multiple games that were scattered around their bedroom floor. they kept fighting about who was picking up which card game. matt and I heard a pile of cards get thrown and then more fighting words.
so matt goes in and says to jack, "did you just throw those cards?"
jack replies, "no, I just put them up in the air and then they flew"
it makes complete sense.

so here it is. I feel like there is so much going on this month, things I have to do, things I want to do, things others want me to do. Sometimes it is just a lot and I want to do nothing at all. I am just glad I have great people in my life that help me. So thanks to you.

I wanted to put a video of Jack that was cute but it is too big a file I think. So here is a pic instead, singing Twinkle Twinkle and playing Old Maid for our FHE.
