Anna went on her first hike with me last week at Girls Camp. I tried showing her all the trees and nature but she mostly just slept in the cozy wrap I had her in.


We spent a few days going to the pool. The boys have really loved it and I am so glad they are finally getting comfortable in the water. Jack's favorite thing now is to "sit" on the bottom of the pool with his goggles on.
Anna is finally getting better at eating! It is fun, she opens her mouth for the spoon and looks like she is working it around in there. So far she has tried green beans (only once and gagged, but we'll try again), peas, squash, and bananas. Plus the rice cereal. We even tried a sippy cup just to see how it went and she figured it out first try!


She is also sitting up now which is so cute. She sits in the play pen and plays with toys.


Christian lost another tooth. Kinda happened like his cousin Aidan at Siskiyou, he was trying to eat corn on the cob and was having a tough time because his tooth was so loose. It started to bleed so Dad went and took it out (Aidan got him on that one, he pulled his own tooth out on the beach)

Lazy Summer Blogging

So after getting back from our 10 day vacation to Cali I had just way too many pictures to talk about dating back to June. So the last few posts are my lazy way of blogging, photo albums full of the fun happenings around here.

It has been a busy summer so far which means time is flying by! I can't believe we are headed into the third week of July already!

Anna is 5 months now and learned to roll onto her belly all by herself while in California. She is working on those abs so she can sit up soon and continue discovering her toys and her hands, she already got her feet down and she tells me her toes taste pretty good.

The boys and I are trying to get to the pool more now. They love it and are getting so much more comfortable in the water. Jack started sitting on the bottom today, then he'd pop up and give me a thumbs up. I have tons of memories of going to our community pool as a kid so I am glad my boys can make some of those same kinds of memories.

Matt's office is doing great! He is very busy which can be good and stressful. Lots of patients means lots of paperwork but I don't think he'd change it.

This Friday we're off to the ocean in Delaware. Just a day trip but one that we look forward to all year long.
